Dear Pennfield Parents and Faculty,
Pennfield School is a special place, where students are happy and eager to learn and where faculty love teaching. We are very much like a family, connected to each other through a common bond: our school’s mission of instilling joy, understanding, and respect in all that we do. Sometimes in the moment it is difficult to appreciate what we have – but for me, summer provides the much needed time and space to look back at our accomplishments…and to smile.
A good school becomes an exceptional one when the expectations of parents and faculty are congrudent and complementary. Measurements that many schools use to quantify “success” are participation rates in the annual fund; though I bet that few come close to what we’ve accomplished.
Our fiscal year ended on June 30, 2018, and Pennfield’s Annual Fund numbers are truly extraordinary. 100% of our families, 100% of our faculty, and 100% of our Board of Trustees financially supported The Pennfield School by donating to the Annual Fund. That level of support is a new first for Pennfield, in a hopefully continuing trend. Well done!
