Tuition Schedule

We RESET tuition so you can RETHINK the possibilities!

In 2020, we launched the Making It Possible initiative and RESET tuition rates as part of our effort to open the doors to a Pennfield education for more Rhode Island and Massachusetts families. Because of its success, Pennfield’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted to extend Making It Possible for the 2021-2022 school year.

“Pennfield is a school where it’s OK to be a child and play; where academic expectations and student performance are high; where values like respect, honesty and compassion matter—and where children and adults smile.”

We understand that enrollment at Pennfield often requires financial sacrifice for our families. That’s why we’ve reset tuition to enable more families to rethink the possibilities of a Pennfield education. We are committed to creating a school community that is inclusive and diverse. We welcome families from all backgrounds and cultures and strive to help make Pennfield accessible for families with a range of socio-economic backgrounds.

The 2021-2022 tuition rates are as follows*:

4 Day Preschool $8,800
5 Day Preschool $10,750
Pre-kindergarten $10,750
Kindergarten $14,500
Class I-III $14,500
Class IV-V $16,000
Class VI-VIII $20,500

Book fees are included in tuition.

*Other fees may apply for international tuition. Reach out to the admission office to learn more.

Billing and Payment

A non-refundable enrollment fee of $500.00 per child is due with an enrollment contract.  Tuition is either billed in three installments of 50%, 25%, and 25% respectively, or tuition can be put on a 10 month payment plan. The due dates for the three installment plan for 2021-2022 are July, November, and March.  The Pennfield School expects the prompt payment of bills.

Field trips are billed as they happen during the school year.  All students entering 5th – 8th grade are required to purchase an iPad before the start of the school year.

Visit Affording Pennfield for more information about payment options and financial assistance. We offer a 10-month payment plan, need-based financial aid, and a U.S. Active Duty military rate.
