Veronica came to Pennfield with vast experience teaching and learning alongside children. She is passionate about supporting a variety of learners, especially those who are neurodivergent. Veronica recently completed her Associate-Level of training in Orton-Gillingham and is working towards certification. At the University of New Hampshire she earned her B.A. in child development and family studies, with a minor in special education. She was the Grade 2 classroom teacher for 3 years before becoming the Director of the Center for Student Success.
Veronica attended La Salle Academy in high school and then received a scholarship to play Division 1 Women’s Soccer at the University of New Hampshire. She was on the America East All-Rookie Team, America East Academic Honor Roll, and won the America East Championship with her team in 2014. Veronica shares her talents and love for the sport as the 5th-8th grade soccer coach at Pennfield. She loves to be active and enjoys going to the beach, reading, practicing yoga, and playing in various sports leagues with friends and family.
