We are thrilled to welcome back Morgan Leigh, a stroke and AVM survivor, founder of Living With an AVM, and author of Stroke Warrior: Living with AVM. She will share more about her journey being diagnosed with an AVM and surviving a stroke, craniotomy, and Gamma Knife treatments. Through her advocacy work, Morgan shares the realities of recovery while helping survivors seen.

Morgan will be joined by Dr. Miriam Meko, a physician and member of the Pennfield community to discuss stroke awareness and medical response. Andrea Breyer, an occupational therapy specialist, will share perspective on rehabilitation and recovery, and Donita Coburn-Amadio will lead a meditation focused on wellness.

The evening will include a panel discussion, Q&A, and book signing, with copies of Stroke Warrior: Living with AVM available for purchase.

Everyone is welcome.

You don’t have to know someone who has experienced a stroke or been diagnosed with an AVM to attend. This evening is for anyone who wants to learn more and help build greater awareness in our community.
