Guests at Grandparents & Special Friends day enjoy student performances showcasing music, community service, and theatre. One of the most beloved traditions at The Pennfield School is Grandparents & Special Friends Day. This special celebration gives students the opportunity to share their school day with some of the most important people in their lives.

On Friday, May 16,  the entire campus was buzzing with excitement. From preschool through 8th grade, students arrived at school dressed to impress and eager to show off all that they’ve been learning. Guests were welcomed with a light breakfast and friendly conversation before moving into the gymnasium for a special assembly.

Each grade presented a short performance, showcasing music, community service, international travel, and theatre. The talents and confidence on display highlighted the students’ confidence in public speaking and creativity. Following the assembly, guests were invited into classrooms for a variety of activities.

Grandparents & Special Friends Day is more than just a morning of entertainment – it’s a meaningful way to strengthen the school-family connection and highlight the sense of community that makes Pennfield such a special place.

We are incredibly grateful to all the family members and friends who spent the morning with us and invite you to enjoy the photos below with a few highlights from Grandparents & Special Friends Day.
