Since our students are not able to travel to local art museums, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Justice is bringing the museum to them. Artwork has been curated from a diverse group of talented artists in the community, including several Pennfield alumni.
The display, located near the Front Desk, will change every couple of months, and teachers are encouraged to bring their students to view the exhibit. Parents who are vaccinated are also invited to come and enjoy our gallery at their leisure. If there are any parent artists who would like to share their work for this rotating exhibit, please contact Mattie Edwards-Kemp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those who cannot make it to see this art in person, we will be highlighting the individual artists our parent newsletter and on social media each week with a short bio and a closer look at each piece.
Thank you to our participating artists:
Jason Smith (class of ’95)
Nick Williams (class of ’95)
Annie Howe (class of ’93)
