Abby Rowe

Abby first became a part of The Pennfield School community as a Kindergarten parent in 2014. She is now the proud parent of a current Pennfield student and Pennfield alumna. Abby got to know the school as a Pennfield volunteer, serving hot lunch and chairing the PSA. In 2017, Abby began working in a more formal role, joining the Business Office as an Accounts Payable Associate. Since then, she has worn several hats, including a substitute at the Front Desk and a Kindergarten assistant teacher.  Currently, in addition to her work in the Business Office, Abby is employed as an Advancement Associate.

Abby is an active volunteer at the Norman Bird Sanctuary, a wildlife center in Middletown, RI. She has served on the Board of Trustees and is a member of the Board’s Development Committee and the Capital Campaign Committee. Abby also remains an active events volunteer, chairing activities at the Children’s Tent during the annual Harvest Fair. She likes to hike, walk, and run and has spent several years as a Girls on the Run coach, a program that builds empowerment and confidence through running.

Abby loves to spend time at home with her family where she is often outside in her garden, reading, or needlepointing.
