Moriah began her journey at Pennfield as a part-time band teacher where she then fell in love with the school as well as the community and knew she wanted to teach full-time. Luckily, Moriah absolutely loves teaching primary and lower school classes and took on the role as lower school music teacher. In the fall of 2021, Moriah accepted the role as Music Director and has taught preschool- 8th grade music classes, including band, Select Chorus, and multimedia music.
In addition to teaching private instrumental lessons after school, Moriah is the Vice President and principle piccolo/flutist of the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble. She also loves to freelance and gig when she has the opportunity. Besides playing music, Moriah loves kayaking, white water rafting, hiking, going to concerts, and making jewelry.
