Early Childhood Certification from Rhode Island College. Dana is a lifelong learner, always looking to further her own understanding. She is currently completing her Orton Gillingham Associate Level Certification.

Dana found her way to Penfield in the fall of 2007 as a substitute teacher as she began her graduate studies. Dana quickly took on a part time position as a teacher’s assistant in Lower School and Extended Day for the Primary Department. Dana found her home as the Grade 1 classroom teacher, where her passion for literacy is utilized daily.

Dana played lacrosse during her time at RWU and has enjoyed coaching as a side step from the classroom.

In her leisure time, Dana enjoys the outdoors, going to the beach, attending concerts, and being present with her family in the everyday moments.
