Dear Members of the Pennfield Community,
I write to you as the president of the Pennfield School Association (PSA), and I am honored to introduce the following people who complete our PSA executive board for 2015-2016:
Garnie Cory – Vice President
Cathy Siegal – Secretary
Diane Campagna – Treasurer
The PSA is responsible for raising funds to support so many important aspects of our school, including educational materials, major technology resources, hot lunch programs, and the ever-critical teacher/staff enrichment, support, and appreciation. The PSA, however, is not only about fundraising; it is equally important to us to host activities that promote our beautiful school to our neighbors, and to sponsor community service programs to nearby communities. Within our own school community, we gather for good, old-fashioned fun, watching football, creating an all-school-feast, ice skating, even keeping warm by a bonfire in the depth of winter.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that every parent is a member of the PSA, and everyone is invited to attend any PSA meeting, where you are welcome to offer your input and talents. Pennfield parents have traditionally been involved in contributing to our community so that our children have an outstanding educational experience, both in and out of the classroom. This coming year we anticipate that this tradition of parental involvement will continue to add to the enrichment of the Pennfield experience.
There are many goals that we want to achieve this year. In order to reach these goals, we encourage everyone’s involvement in our efforts. For some of you, this may mean simply participating in our activities. For many of you, this will be an opportunity to volunteer your time, talents and efforts for the most worthy cause imaginable: our children.
Thank you so much for your time and your involvement. We are very much looking forward to a great year.
PSA President 2015-2016
