As a Naval Officer fresh from two back-to-back seagoing commands, I came to America with the express desire of re-connecting with my family. The children’s schooling was always going to be central to this endeavor, and in this regard Pennfield has delivered in spades. Tara and I couldn’t have wished for a more friendly or inclusive environment that makes us feel both welcome and engaged in the all-around development of our four children. We love Pennfield and so do our children.

The Office of Admission encourages military families to apply to The Pennfield School at any point of entry from Nursery (age 3) through Grade 8. While your child may be with us for a brief time, we treat each child as if they will be here forever! Parents instantly feel that sense of commitment from our teachers and current families. Military children and families are always a wonderful addition to the life of our school. Currently we have nineteen students whose parents serve in the United States military or the British Royal Navy.
