"The Pennfield School has been a tremendous influence for good in our children’s lives. Not only has the school been accepting of our children’s military background, they genuinely seem to appreciate it! Shortly after our children started attending Pennfield, their Dad deployed for an 18 month tour in Afghanistan. It was a very difficult time for our family; living in a new place, far from family and friends, adjusting to a new house and neighborhood, and having Dad gone. But the teachers and faculty members at Pennfield were wonderful. Each one was aware of our family’s situation and all gave unfailing support (and much was needed) throughout the entire ordeal. The strong sense of community at Pennfield provided a much needed network for support for our children and for me. It truly was amazing!
From an academic standpoint Pennfield is top notch. They offer a full science and language curriculum for grade school aged children. They have fantastic music and art programs. Their PE and afterschool sports programs are excellent as well. Most importantly, they care about their students and sincerely want them to succeed. I haven’t met a teacher at Pennfield who is not 100% dedicated to the work they are doing, to the children they are teach and the lives they are shaping. It is truly inspiring to watch. I have seen my children grow in countless ways as students and as individuals.
The Pennfield School is a wonderful place for military children and their families. Every day I am grateful for the opportunity my children have to attend The Pennfield School!"
